Shenzhen, China - (Oct. 28, 2022) – Sunway Communication has joined IWPC (International Wireless Industry Consortium), which was founded in 1998 by Don Brown and Rene Douville. The objective of the IWPC was, and still is, to bring together the entire wireless industry supply chain to find ways to identify new markets and new products and to find ways to work together to reduce costs, reduce time to market, and improve performance of all things wireless.

Till now, the IWPC has grown to more than 160 member companies worldwide and has organized more than 300 workshops in North America, Europe, and Asia on ALL things wireless, with more than 10000 individuals participating at these workshops over time.

Since its establishment in 2006, Sunway has focused on the field of RF-connectivity-related products. After 16 years' development, it now has six one-stop solutions, including RF connectivity, wireless charging, high-speed interconnection and more. The products are widely used in consumer electronics, automotive, IoT, communication/enterprises fields, which all match the focus markets of the IWPC.

In joining the IWPC, Sunway will join others in driving the industry forward through workshops attendance and other activities. We will focus on developing advanced wireless connection technologies such as 5G and 6G communication technologies, future automotive communication antennas, future mobile terminal wireless architecture and smart home wireless technology, and work with all members to promote the development of wireless industry.
